2005 Kubota L3400HST
I have not noticed the difference in Kubotas FEL removal to that of other manufacturers discussed. If others use the same method I have just not been around them.

The difference I am refering to is the method of loosening the release pin. On all other loaders I have been around, you must work the hydraulics until you find the magic spot that you can pull the pin out. Then often one pin comes out hard anyway. On both my L3400 and M125X, you lift the front of the tractor off the ground to force the loader all the way back in its bracket and then pull the pin out. On both tractors the pin slides out with no resistance. The reverse is true to install the loader.

Not a huge deal, but very nice if you like to remove the loader regularly. This was just a nice feature I was not aware when I was shopping.

You can watch the pin, tilt the bucket, and see when the pressure is off. My L3130 comes out easy, the L5030 is tougher to get out as the pins were a bit rusty when new.

Yeah, I like that a lot too, old goat. The loader on my B7610 is removed and replaced at least once a week and it's great that it is so easy.

The only FELs I've owned are the two Kubotas I have now (LA682 & LA352) so I don't know how Blue/Green/Red do it...but have often wondered. Can't believe they have anything beats Kubota's approach.

I do it on different tractors every week. I can't explain exactly why, but for some reason the Kubota loaders are easier than the others even though they are done the same way. New Holland in particular uses the same steps, but it takes twice as long every time I do it. Infact they've gotten enough heck from the dealers about it that they are releasing a new loader with a different attachment system.

I've had trouble the last few times getting my coupler on the FEL to engage on my Kubota. The red one actually is the problem child. I had to undo the female to get it to actuate. The blue, white and yellow are ok.

Does it have pressure on it causing it to not engage? If so then it's how my loader sits before I unhook them I guess. Is this me doing something wrong or the coupler?

It's hard to worry about the pins if I can't get the hydraulics on first.......

Always shut off the tractor & cycle the joystick before you pull off the hydraulic couplers!

I've only used the quick attach on my JD. The pins have always come out and go in quickly. I love it.
I recently called around on a QA set of pallet forks. I was told that Kubota and Skid Steer have the same QA setup. I really wish JD had gone with it as well if this is true. It would make it easier to buy second hand implements.

The 430 FEL on my JD 4310 has a single slide bar that releases the loader. To release, you set the fully curled bucket on the ground, "dump" the bucket to raise the front of the tractor, slide the release handle forward, curl the bucket fully and then raise the loader off the frame. The release handle is located on the left FEL arm in easy reach from the operator's seat.

That's easy.

I haven't tried to remove mine yet. I notice some loaders have the support frame go from middle of tractor and wrap around and appear to attach under grill. Mine is only attached at mid frame. Does that mean my tractor disperses loader weight different than being attached at front? I'm careful with loaded bucket on unlevel ground as I can see hood shift at closure by instrument panel. I have M/F GC2310TLB. plowking

The FEL comes off???

Seems like even when all I plan to do is mow a nice flat field, I end up using the FEL. I'm either smoothing out a rough spot, or pushing a dead, fallen tree off the edge of the field, or stopping to nibble away at some other project between the field and the barn.

I've had this tractor for over a year and I've never taken the FEL off.
Maybe, I ought to try it.
