They have some specials running on them this month. How would one of these in 2wd with a loader be? Mainly looking for a second tractor to rake and ted with, plus have a second tractor to help unload hay with.

It weighs about 500# more than that MX 5000 you were looking at, which is something, but otherwise will be almost exactly the same. It has about 500# less three point lift capacity. Honestly, any tractor this size in a 2wd configuration is gonna be pretty marginal for loading and unloading the bales you're talking about. A 4wd would be much better for the job, but even there you're gonna need loaded rears plus lots of weight on the three point. I wouldn't think you'll find a 2wd tractor that's particularly comfortable loading and unloading round bales until you get into something that weighs over 5000# (before you add the ballast and loader. That New Holland looks to weigh about 3700.
