is that crazy?
I'm looking at all mid to compacts for my needs and found this. The ad is two days old and i have inquired about it 3x and no reply....
They could have left town...
they could have decided the under priced...but not pulled the ad...
or it's a scam.
I cannot believe there are so many out there.

I not not seen a NH TC35 for under 9k.
Did they make a 2x4? all I have seen are 4x4 and it's the only reason I can think of for the lower price is 2x4.

Craigslist? Likely a scam. If you can't get a reply and an opportunity to go view the tractor, skip it.

CW, be very cautious of that tractor even if it is legit. The tractor may be a basket case. You didn't say where the posting is located, but if it is local to you, I'd keep trying to make contact. If not local and they want you do something out of the ordinary, avoid the deal like the plague.

Yes, there were 2wd models of the TC35 in the early years. 2wd was removed as an option in later models after they didn't sell very well. Even so, $5k is a steal price for a good tractor with only 850 hours. Approach with extreme caution. You also want to make sure the tractor is not stolen.

No, Just a scam trying to get people to send money for a tractor that they'll never see....

Scammers are known to snag tractor pics off of various sites and post them on several local CLs.
Many times this is also done on sites that list various types of equipment. When I was in the process of buying a tow behind boom lift last summer I found this to be the case. Turned out that many advertisers were just brokers that were listing the same piece of equipment and posting the same pic. I guess the first guy that sold it got the commission.
Finally found a lift listed on one of these sites that was at a dealer about 80 miles from home. Was able to speak to them on the phone, agree on a figure and not have to give up any money or down payment. I saw and operated the machine first and then concluded the deal and towed it home.
