NH TC29D vs TC30

Ok, what gives? Just got back from the dealer and was offered a TC30 for $400 less than a TC29D. To me the specs look the same and the two seem to fit me the same. The guy doesn't hve an overstock. So can anyone give a reasonal guess as to why?

My knowledge is very limited when it comes to the TC30 but I was told by my dealer that they were cheaper to manufacturer due to the different sheetmetal and some of the options on the TC29D are not available on the TC30. Not that it is a cheaper(less quality) just less cost to make. I think the rebate is a little better on them if I can remember. My dealer said he could get me one cheaper than the TC29D as well, but I decided to step up to a classIII Boomer instead. I liked the controls layout and the 4 cyl better then the Class II and the HP and added Loader capacity will be real nice to have as well. Happy Shopping!

The TC30 is new hollands entry as an economy compact tractor.

Just finished perusing the archives and read most of the posts for the TC29D and TC30.
