I mistakenly posted this same thread in a different forum, but I will post it here also. Does anyone have any insight on how this shifter is supposed to work. It came out of the point where it connects and this is the only way I can get it back together. But the block on the shifter keeps coming out of the square opening where it goes in. Is one of the parts worn out? It looks like maybe the block on the shifter should go into the mounting area farther but it won't go in. Any help or suggestions would be great thanks.
