NH TC-33D Front axle drive U-Joints

While bush hogging yesterday with my TC-33D with supersteer, I noticed the front wheel turning forward as I backed up. Inspection revealed that the U-joint that attaches to the tranfer case had come loose. Buggered the shaft a little but I can find no other damage and do not know why or how it came off. Anyone seen this before? Thanks, Hoserdave
