NH T1510 warning lights, electrical

Had storm damage last week so did not get to work on tractor. Got back to it today.

Tested diode and got reading in Only one direction, so I think it is OK, like you said.
Also When I removed the diode I found diode connector was very dirty. Cleaned it before reinstalling.

Tested battery and alternator voltage . Battery voltage good.

Alternator is charging but concerned that voltage is to high. Read tonight that it should not be above 14.2 and mine is higher than 14.2 Sorry when I tested I did not realize that the voltage could be to high so I do not remember how high it was, just know it was higher than 14.2, can test again tomorrow. What is the correct voltage for the alternator.

I also cleaned the battery ground to the tractor.

Three dash lights still come on, but since charging battery and cleaning connections do not come on as soon, and sometimes go out , but come back on. Thanks for any help.

We want to be sure that the 'gauge panel' also has a secure ground connection. (Hmm, perhaps why my '04 TC33DA is acting up? :laughing:.)

I suggest that a charging voltage up to 14.7 :)rolleyes:) isn't much to worry about depending on initial state of charge when evaluating it. (~12.25V=~25%, ~12.75V=~'full charge @ NO LOAD' and NOT while charging.) Don't test within 30-60 min of disconnecting ANY charger/type. (we call it 'soak')

If your cluster's lights aren't making sense to you perhaps we've only just begun. :) Please remind us which are the 'three lights' that keep coming on. I'll sleep better when your s__ is working as you wish it to. You have an awesome machine that is a 'keeper' despite its conservative FEL specs. Think Ford/NH 1720's and TC30's awesome 'love child'. :thumbsup:

Will check battery and alternator today.
Will get lists of lights remaining on.
Will look for gauge panel ground.
