Any certified NH techs on site? Have a question about a repair that was completed at a dealer and feel as though I did not get the full disclosure. Please pm me if you can.

Thanks

20 years as a NH dealership employee, 15 as a service tech. Factory service training at least a dozen times. The last thing I am gonna do is provide commentary on a repair I did not perform on a machine I have never seen. I suggest that you have a frank discussion with the service manager who supervised and billed your work order.

Thanks Rick. I wasn't looking for diagnosis over the net. Just had a question on a part and how common if at all that it fails. No worries

TS110A, shuttle lever. Also is there a way to verify it is working correctly via the dash diagnostic or by hooking up the computer by chance?

Shuttle levers /switches can fail, although not as often as one might think. They can fail in different ways due to the multiple circuit paths involved in the switch. Having been behind the parts counter and away from direct involvement in service for several years now, I will only say that I would expect that it is possible to diagnose some, if not all shuttle lever functions using onboard and pc based software programs.
