NH Boomer 55 pro control valve

The coil on the pto control valve toasted.. in order to replace it you have to buy the entire valve $173!!. For a $25 12vdc coil. Anyone have any experience in replacing with an aftermarket coil? Or other thoughts before I bite the bullet?

If you could locate the manufacturer of that valve, it might be possible to find just the coil.

I am not familiar with your tractor so certainly not your valve or what you can do.
However a relay and a solenoid are both electrically activated coils. Again not knowing your setup at all this may be of no assistance, but it is thinking outside the box a bit.
