Lots of valid points being made, and that's why I said it's easy for me to say what I did since I don't own one, and don't know the frustration of using this particular loader.
There have been several posters who say it hasn't been a problem for them. Of course, we're talking a few different models here, not just the KL1595 that I was referring to.

psuedo,

I'm sure you studied the degrees of rollback and the rollback breakout force before you bought your tractor. I'm sure you compared those specs to the other loaders in this class. I'm sure you took it into the field for a couple of days testing it out to make sure it would curl and stack large round bales and that it would hold a full bucket of material for loading trucks. Give me a freakin break.....

I drove my tractor around the yard, discussed capabilities with the dealer, and bought it. The reason I didn't ask questions about every technical aspect is because I never dreamed in a million years that the loader would be so weak.

It boils down to one simple point, I will not do business with a company when their attitude is "buyer beware". Why would I need to study and verify technical specs before purchasing? I don't do this for other products and I won't do it with tractors either. The product doesn't function as well as other products in it's class.

I don't need to prove to anyone here or at Kioti that the product isn't right. I know it and they know it and, from what I've read here, most owners of the loaders know it too. I've used Bush Hog, John Deere, Koyker, Kubota and now Kioti loaders. This is the only loader I've had a problem with.

I am due for a 50 hr service soon. Will ask the dealer about the pressure increase. I am not sure that the bolts will hold with a pressure turn up. My dealer told me that he has had trouble with bolt breakage on both the 1590 and 1595 loaders. I sure don't need a broken bolt when trying to unload a bale from the second tier on a trailer. Might not find reverse fast enough. Thanks for the suggestion. Other than the loader I am well satisfied with my DK45C. First time in my life that I raked hay all day and wasn't dirty! First cab tractor and I am spoiled. Even had to turn the A/C down. Got cold!

What bolts were you having problems with breaking?? We haven't had any so far?

I too agree that you should check the pressure, we have many ppl loading large bales with the 1590 loader.

Well, I have been silent for a while about this issue. I am pleased with my tractor, after close reconsideration. The Kioti tractor has much to offer for the price. I was unable to test my tractor and the loader before I purchased it, so I relied on the website and data to make my choice. I can say that numbers and figures are quite different on paper than when in the field. Kioti has placed importance on the self-leveling loader at the expense of performance in other areas. It would be great if there was a choice between a self-leveling loader and a fully manual one. It is not hard to pull back to lift and push to the side to roll back at the same time. I for one am use to a smaller tractor with a bucket that I had complete control over as far as the angles and lift are concerned. I get frustrated when using my loader on the DK65S because it seems to have a mind of it's own, and not what I want it to do. I miss the independent control of the roll back and the lift control. I would be willing to pay for a fix to change my loader over to a completely manual loader without the self-leveling function. Kioti is a great tractor, they are in touch with their owners, and they are taking care of us.
Thanks for listening,
Gary

I'm curious about that myself !!
The pins take all the weight/pressure. The bolts and caps only hold the pins from sliding out.

I called Kioti yesterday and talked to a feller named Joel. He told me that a solution had not been agreed upon between Kioti and the loader Manufacturer. He also told me that what I thought was a loader problem is inherent to self leveling loaders.
The way I figure it my loader (1590 on a dk50) will lift a pallet @ 50lbs, a water tank @ 50 lbs, about 150 gallons of water or 1250lbs, the quick attach plate @ 100 lbs, and the forks and frame @ 375 lbs. That is close to 2000lbs. That is also right at the point of the relief valve going to. The tractor has no problem picking it up, but if I try to roll that back it will dump it on the ground. I also cannot rollback a bucket full of dirt or gravel in the bucket (72”).
Joel was as nice as could be and told me a solution had not been reached. That tells me that this has to be some sort of problem that both companies are aware of. My 1590 loader was the first one that my dealer put on. He is the largest volume dealer in NC so mine is one of the older ones and that is just an assumption. When I got it I just thought, dang this thing just isn’t what is in the books. I just figured I would live with it. I will unless they find a fix. If they do I will gladly pay for the fix to the problem.
Kioti has stood by their product for me in the past. Not once but twice. They were both doozies too. It is enough for me that they are at least aware of the problem and trying to find a solution to it

I have not broken any bolts. My dealer told me that he had some problems with broken bolts and if memory serves me correctly he said they were grade 5 bolts and he suggested to the loader mfg that they be replaced with grade 8; however the mfg sent grade 5 to replace the broken ones.
Will be a few days before I take my tractor in for service. Got to put up some square bales for my Missouri Foxtrotting Horses.

i'm rather ****-retentive when it comes to making buying decisions. that's why i used my neighbors NH, a friends DK, and another neighbors Grand L. i'm not talking about driving it around in circles, i'm talking about using them on the farm for logging, moving piles of dirt, and field restoration. i did this for 1 year before buying my tractor.

but as i mentioned, i'm not an expert user - so it's likely that i wouldn't have noticed a few degrees in roll-back. franky, i belive that you have a right to be disappointed - and furthermore, a right to demand an upgrade.

we're beating a dead horse here. there are users of this loader who want a fix. kioti is working on it. the question of who should pay for it is another issue altogether.

It’s baffling to me to read complaints that the 1590's lack of lifting and rollback power. I've handled pallets of paving stones (400 pavers * 7 lbs 5 ounces per brick, 2950+ pounds) with my loader. I was able to unload the pallets (pickup only able to haul one at a time) and transport them from staging area to work areas as needed. The loader had no problem lifting the pallets but it did not have sufficient rollback power to level them. The loader did hold the pallets at a constant angle (shown in the picture) from the height of the pickup bed down to the transport height.

My educated guess would be when designing the 1590 the engineers assumed loads would extend no further then the bucket edge. It would explain why they set rollback power only sufficient to curl the max load 19" inches from the pivot points. When we add a QA plate and use pallet forks or bale spears to lift loads 3', 4' or 5' away from the bucket pins we are applying loads that exceed the design specifications. It would have been nice if the original design considered these loads, but it didn’t and the specifications reflect this fact.

As this tractor represented a significant amount of money to me I spent a lot of time comparing the technical specifications of various tractors and FEL combinations. The 1590 delivered with my tractor meets or exceeds the published specifications. I don’t claim the 1590 design is perfect, rollback power and angle could be improved, and like most American males I want more. I don't expect Kioti or KVM to upgrade my loader to a new specification level for free, though that would be nice. It would be a smart investment in customer loyalty to supply the upgrade kits at cost to current owners.
