newly rebuilt 14 hp kohler

Ok i just got my 14 hp kohler rebuilt and installed it today. had it running a few minutes. when i turn on the gas it just pours out of the carb. Does this mean that the float is sticking? Or does it mean something else....when this happens i cannot get it started again........thanks Don

ok i got that straightened out but now it wont start.....dont know what it is now...any ideas? i had it running friday

did you try spraying gas in the carb? if it starts, sounds like you still have a carb problem. maybe rebuild time?

Either that or he sprayed gas in the carb and it backfired and fried his cookies.... Kohlers do that ocassionally.....:laughing:
