This is my first year doing my own hay. I tried co-oping with another farmer who needed a little help.It worked out ok but I am rapidly realizing I need all of my own equippment. I did pretty well so far but I am still looking for other things. I am considering a NH#55 rollar bar rake and a MF #12 baler. Can anyone out there give me a little advice as to whether I should or shouldn't and what I should pay?

You should be able to pick up a 55 New Holland in decent shape around $500 and the baler around $800. Keep in mind this equipment is 50-60 years old and going to need a little TLC to keep it in the field Ken Sweet
