Hi, Just here to read all the forums relating to anything I own or am interested in owning and to see what other's are doing with or have questions about their tractors. Great site. Thanks.
That is why I liked a soft cab as it was easy to take off in the spring and put back on in the winter. Down here it is only the rain I have to worry about now. Some times when I am on the back of the property and it starts to rain, I just stay out there as I know I will be soaked by the time I get back to the barn anyway.I doubt you're a wimp. You have my respect and appreciation as a US Air Force retiree. Thank you for serving our country.
As for a cab on my Kubota, it would be nice a couple of days a year but a pain in the rear most of the time. My brothers have several of the big JD tractors with heated and air conditioned cabs, and while they're nice during the winter, I still prefer being outdoors. It brings back memories of growing up on the farm before everyone had a tractor with all the modern conveniences.
