Hello All- New to tractor by net. I have had 2 tractors an 8N and a 1997 Ford 1720 in 4 wheel drive with a bucket. I am more interested in working on the 18 acres we have than working on the tractor; so I like the 1720 better. I will be stopping by the sight on a regular basis to chat or just read what is posted. Thanks to all with the previous post I hijacked.

Combo works fine. For menial tasks 8N would work great to be augmented by 1720 and a bucket. Well, this is your thread and I don't reckon you hijacked many threads.

with a lil work.. that 8n can be quite reliable and ready to work when needed.

however that xx20 series tractor is a nice one.. i had a 1920 4wd.. awesome machine..
