Thanks for the info Rich! I had seen that blower at Messick's also, but the online searches are not finding anything semi-local now. They're my local dealer, and seem to have a sellection of used stuff. Have also found a nice BX1500 locally also - starting to think of with uses for a FEL also... (really way more tractor than I need though)

Any opinions of the AWS vs normal? A slight worry is that when going closely along a wall (for instance), is it touchy to get close and still be able to turn away when needed? (whereas with non-steering rear wheels it would stay in line and not have the rear wheels turn into the wall). Starting to have concern that although would do less trimming around trees, would have more along walls.

TIA! Jim

1*I'd forget the G1900 and jump on that .
2*If you get the G1900 and later decide you want a F E L it will cost you to up grade to another tractor that will take a FEL
The FEL is the Most useful attachment there is for a tractor.
3* May be but I went with the BX1500 over a Kubota G 2100 or JD x7XX Because It was more tractor for less money.
It's better to have more and not need it than to have less and need more ; especially when you can get the extra for less money.
4*That's 1 of the disadvantages of going with a garden tractor .
Attachments for them are tractor brand and model specific thus making them more expensive and harder to find .
Case in point : A tiller for my CC garden tractor is $3500.
I paid $1100 for the new tiller I put on my BX1500.
Other tractors all share the same attachments meaning they are easier to find and cost less.
Many people never consider this when tractor shopping.

Just for the record, I purchsed the G1900. I can't (yet) justify the price difference for the move up to the BX series, and the size of this machine is a nice fit to what I was looking for! 4ws is taking some getting usd to

That said, it's time for attachments (and another thread...). Thanks for the opinions everyone!!
