Tires Newbie questionon loading tires

/ Newbie questionon loading tires #11
When loading tractor tires I ALWAYS have my dealer insert tubes first, then load the tires. The tube keeps whatever liquid is used from actually making ANY contact with the rims, thus no corrosion.A little more expensive but in the long run I think it saves the rims from replacement due to corrosion. Whatever you use, if you don't use tubes inside the tire first, corrosion will play a part in deteriorating the rims over time.

Dave,
This is a link I used to load the tires. They cover how much to put into the fronts and rears depending whether your pulling or pushing and whether you have 2 or 4wd. How to keep the weight balance and how to check for proper traction.
It was kinda fun doing it myself...learned a lot.

If I remember correctly, this is not the case with RimGuard. It actually protects teh rims from corrosion. (But it's been a while since I reviewed the info on the stuff).
