Newbie NH TC 40 owner- hope I don\'t wear you out..

appreciate reading all of your posts to tractorbynet-- feel as if some of you are long time friends, already. I have learned a lot already from you all-- reason I have the tractor I have, which arrived this AM. It is a tc 40 w/ 16LA & bushog.

I didn't grow up w/ tractors, so this is on the job training.

I sort of feel uneasy, but nice to know there are folks like you out there to help/share their expertise.

For example, Mark has e-mailed me privately to share that my price was fair/good for the package.
Jim has posted a very useful sequence (last year) on the removal/attachment sequence for the FEL 16LA -- which I
have copied/will print.

Just hope I don't wear you all out with questions.

Congratulations on your tractor purchase, Pablo. There are always folks around here to answer your questions and share experiences with. Don't worry about "wearing us out" because it seems to be the nature of tractor folks to love giving help /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif ...and advice whether you want it or not. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Congrats on the new Toy /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif oops I mean Tool /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif .

You don't have to worry about wearing these guys out. From my experience they're more than willing to impart their knowledge to us newbies here ( and aren't we all very grateful).

PABLO, I was and am like you a newbie to tractors. Spent time lurking taking in as much as I could understand from this site before my purchase. A great dealer & TBN has made owning/operating my BabeBlu a great new experience. The only "problems" are the more I think I know & understand the more I realize how much I don't know & understand about tractor operation/maintenance. Also, if I had a bottomless bank account the number of great ideas for customization, new attachements to make life a little easier, modifications/tweaks, projects would take up a larger chunk of time & $$ than I can afford. Of course with a never ending bank account I wouldn't have to work then I would be in tractor heaven.

I recently got the same set-up, TC-40, 16la FEL and brushhog. So far, everything has worked great! I think you'll enjoy it!

Thanks for all the encouragement, advice. have only ran over three fence poles-- 1 & 1/2 unintended. bush hog works wonders. will search here to figure out what to do w/ FEL.

When hoggin' - run that FEL near the ground so if there is anything hiding in the bushes that you don't want to run over with the hog - you'll find it first with the FEL ---
