Well Flusher, Lee at Dave's tractor was extremely helpful and willing to work with me. Ultimately he won me over with great customer service and a good price. I took receipt of a Mahindra 3016 HST and added a box scraper and rear remote. The tractor has the creature comforts I was looking for with the right amount of HP and size to work my property and still fit in the shop.

I commute to work in Roseville so I'm near Sacramento pretty regularly. We've talked about moving closer to work but we love our spread here and wouldn't be able to get as much for the money down there.

Chico to Roseville: that's a heck of a commute. My son and daughter-in-law lived in Roseville for about 7 years. Moved last year to East Sac to be closer to his work.

I get to Chico every 5-6 weeks. Make a day of it shopping at the big box stores, stock up on welding supplies and steel, Harbor Freight, etc. Last stop is In-n-Out for a burger which shares a parking lot with Krispy Kreme--can't get much better than that.

Hahaha, yeah IN-N-OUT is great. Haven't been to the doughnut shop yet. The drive to Roseville isn't that bad really because I only do it once a week. I go down for a few days and then come home.
