Newbie here. It looks like we'll go Orange... :tractor:

We considered the BX a couple years ago - we had easement land that was being ignored. Now we pay hoa landscapers $30/mo to mow it.

We just bought some land and look forward to having some fun.

We've considered the L model - we were told they won't accomplish our needs and or goals.

We thought about the 8540 or 7040 - because people on the internet said they were the do all models. We were later told they were too much machine for our needs and goals.

We were gonna do the 5640 - not sure why. We are being told it has extra weight that might be an issue. We are also told we will want HST.

We believe we'll go M5040 - still deciding HD or HDC.

Welcome- you're not to far from my neck of the woods here in Louisiana. I would definitly recommend HST. As for the other stuff, just have to figure out what you're wanting to get done and what the 'normal' purpose of the machine will be and gear it towards that.
