I am a little outside the TRI, closer to Mountain City and Elizabethton in BUTLER but work in JC/Kingsport area. Thanx for the welcome.

Love that slogan, showed it to the wife..last night..it took her a minute to catch it..but I totally agree and thought it was really sharp.

Are you in Yanceyville?..I am about 20 minutes from Boone. I live right across the line in Carter.

We live in Caswell County on 30 acres in the Country. Yanceyville is the town. I used to fish South Holston, Watauga, and Doe River in your area. I used to work with a man named Glenn Shirley that lived just outside of Elizabethton.

I bet Watauga is beautiful right about now. Are the dogwoods in bloom? The dogwoods here are in full bloom. I'm glad that your question was answered. Have a great day.

No not yet, they are trying- the dogwoods have been in bloom a few weeks in JC/Kingsport- just starting here, though. Theres some been in bloom a week or so further down the lake- closer to Hampton.

We just got some rain this morning and expecting a warm sunny week, starting tommorrow. I bet everything will be popping out in full effect this week, though. This morning, I noticed a 'rose of sharron' bush in the yard had blooms starting. Cant wait, maybe these old rainy days wont feel so cold-when spring start showing some colors.

Really need to get my garden plowed, my pump is out on my tractor. Just got one from Florida, maybe it will be here in the middle of the week. I might be able to get started busting up ground around the end of the week. I bet you guys are already getting plants out- as warm as it has been.
