Just a quick hello to the forum.
I am located near Newburgh NY 70 miles North of NYC. I am interested in growing stone fruits and apples as well as some local produce. I have 22 acres or which about 14 is good for an orchard.
I own and are in the process of fixing up a 1966 Ford Industrial with front loader. In addition, I am looking to purchase a JD 450 BC crawler with six way blade to help me prep the orchard site. I am looking into attaching a JD 9300 backhoe to the 450 BC as well.
These are my aspirations and I find myself humbled by the entire process. I am much more into growing than machinery and need to rely on others to support me in this area. Thank for future assistance and advice. I need to make good decisions along this journey.
