I have always wanted a tractor with a loader and I finally got one. I bought a 2006 Cub Cadet 6284 with a loader and 60" belle mower. It only had 92 hours on the clock and not a scratch on it. I don't think the tractor has ever been serviced. It has the original filters on it from what I can tell and the oil is jet black. I am looking for all the filters and fluids and have located most all of what I need. The only filter that is getting me a little is the engine filter. The part number on the oil filter is 150-4140 and ir researching compatable filters I found a cross reference list that says I can use a Fram PH-16 so I bought one and when looking at the diameter it is way to big to fit on the cat engine. Does anyone know where I can find a comparable filter for the 6284? I went to a CC seller and they did not have a Cat filter for the engine and could not even tell me what filter fit on it since it was not in his computer schematics.
