Newbe needs help

   / Newbe needs help #11
I've done some research on the web between JD, Simplcity Prestige, and Cub 3000s. The Simp looks to be a good tractor value but I noticed something. The cut heigth only goes to 3.75". I would be concerned in the pasture area with a deck that low!. The Cub does not list the price for the deck but still seems it would be less than JD.

I like the comments about the older Case/Inger but would be concerned about upkeep (time more than the cost)

g42guy,

Send me an e-mail (didn't see your address listed anywhere) - and I'll send you more information and pictures of my restored Simplicity PowerMax. I think it may be just what the doctor ordered for your situation. It is a very well built, well engineered tractor - and a real work horse. There are many implements available for these tractors. Mine comes with a 60" MMM, 48" brush hog and 60" rear blade - which looks like all you'd need for the time being. Check at www.simpletractors.com for more information on these PowerMax's. Just an overall awesome machine - at a reasonable price.

Jeff
