Newb with 8N

Hello, been fixing up an 8N, later version, and its been fun, but I'm getting real frustrated with the gov. I'm not a total grease monkey, but I have done a lot of workon a 7.3l Diesel and I generally look through manuals and forums to get the answers. The plan for the tractor is to use it to mow 1 acre and to assist with chores, firewood, gardening, moving stuff,... on the property. I would like to fix up the 8n as a total restore, but for now I need to make it work.
