I never thought I'd end up with an LS. I have spent the better part of a couple weeks researching, test driving and spending an unreasonable amount of time learning about different tractors. I had found a tractor I liked, the Kioti CK2510H but hadn't found a dealer I wanted to deal with yet. (the first dealer ((not a LS dealer)) changed the agreement as I was getting ready to write a check. I eventually contacted a dealer 100miles away who convinced me to come talk to him (his price quote helped as well). After a 100 mile drive to talk and "test drive one of our LS models" I was hooked and left being the owner of a key, hat and an owner's manual with poor grammar. Thankfully I was armed with enough information from here and other sources to have some idea about the LS brand and made what I feel to be a decent deal. I just received word that the tractor is being delivered tomorrow (I don't have a trailer or else I would've already had it home). I'm looking forward to joining the LS family and will post pictures up when I get a chance. I'm sure with the small 6 acres I just bought I'll be involved in some shenanigans before you know it.

Congratulations on the machine. I take care of 6 acres of combined mowing, grooming horse rings and driveways, and snow removal with 24 hp just fine and you will be too

I hope you enjoy your LS as much as I have mine!

Yep, that manual is a hoot to read. Let's just say a little imagination is required.

Congratulations. Being that I own a 2014 LS J2023 I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Just 3 words of advice- LOAD YOUR TIRES. It is almost a must. I went w/Rimgard. It added an additional 320 lbs.

So i finally got some time on the tractor and cut about 4 acres of stuff similar to what is in the picture. The first few hours and began to think that the tractor wouldn't going to do the job as the bushhog wheel was continuously in the air or plowing through the dirt, but after some reading and adjusting the top link and rear wheel height I got a better cut and had a more enjoyable time. Once I get the ruts from the previous logging and some of the trees cut/trimmed my time and all the massive rocks moved my spent cutting should be markedly decreased (lets not forget when actual grasslike structures begin growing).

My only complaint at this time is the position control for the 3pt hitch. It would be nice to be able to set it to a specific level and forget about it. Otherwise so far, so good.

Thats a good looking tractor! i ended up buying a kioti ck2510 but this was a close 2nd for me. What do you mean by the position control on the 3pt?

I actually was sitting at the table to buy a Kioti CK2510hst but the dealer changed the price $1700 as I was pulling out the checkbook, said he had been quoting a gear price the whole time (despite me having 2 other dealers quoting the same price for the HST that I talked them down to). Anyway. The 3pt hitch on most tractors has a setting where you can adjust a screw to determine where the hitch goes down to. I think the kioti has this. This one has a 3pt that has a lever with up/down function, but returns to a neutral position, so it's pretty much a guess or turning around to look and see what height your implement is at. I'm sure someone can describe this better but that's about the gist of it.

Yea I believe I know what your talking about. There is a slide screw I can adjust on the 3pt lever, I guess I've really never fooled with it much. I think the kioti and ls are pretty comparable tractors. I wouldn't mind having a xj2025 along with my ck2510 lol. Post some more pics!
