Tiller New Woods tiller

I have been looking at a woods GTC 52" tiller for my JD X585. I was quoted $1300.00-is this good?

I believe, but not sure of the model number, but my dealer sells the Woods 52" for about $1200. John

I do not know the price of the Woods tiller but I bought a 44 inch First Choice tiller that I am very satisfied with. I paid $850 two years ago. They are probably $1000 now. $1200 doesn't seem too bad for a 52 inch tiller.

If your ground is clay like mine, you may want to consider a smaller tiller. The X585 may be a little light for a 52 inch tiller if you have clay soil.
