You may want to cover that welder when woodworking. They really don't like the fine dust from sanding/finishing. I do a lot of woodworking too. I have put a cabinet under my welding table to hold my welder and associated items.

I appreciate all the photos and descriptions -- some great ideas here. I keep adding more tools to the cart every time I weld, and end up shuffling stuff around. Today I put all my files in the top drawer, as I was using them to clean up a bracket I welded and I never had a good place to put files before.

I agree -- I just happened to get the Hobart cover made for my welder, and it fits well. I hated to spend $30 on what's surely about $5 worth of fabric and labor, but it was going to be another bothersome side project to make something myself, so I just spent the money.

I'm pretty sure $30 is a good price for an OEM cover for your Hobart.

And one of these to secure the bottle. If you do you may want to add a backing plate on the inside wall of your cabinet where you bolt it on.

Here you go, Mark. They are available in different diameters. Not available in Canada as far as I could see.
I modified propane bottle brackets with the over centre clamp mechaniism on my carts. I will take pics when later.

Looks like a nice match! Still jealous of your Multimatic. I bought the HF cart with drawers for my 211 and I love it. Works great and has plenty of storage. When I go plasma, I think I will get the cart you just got.
