New U5020

I just took home my new U5020. Hope it works as well as my G3033 I bought in Dec 2012. Will get it working and write a review. Raining today so will have to wait to work. Looks too nice to get it muddy the first day.

It is the G's Big brother. Sold my Mahindra 5500 2WD to get the 5020. Other than the cheesy lift arms and leveler, the 5020 is a much better tractor.

I meant stabilizer bars and leveler. They could be much better built. My mahindra that I sold had much more heavy duty and easier to adjust 3 point components. I feel the same way about my G3033. Everything works fine, It could have had a better engineered 3 pt system. The rest of the tractor is well built. Overall I am happy with it. Attaching some of my equipment is a little more difficult with my 5020 than it was with the Mahindra. Some of that I am sure is due to the fact that it is a new piece of machinery to me.

I have the 4046 and I agree that the three point attachment stabilizer bars are not very good. I've had mine wobble back and forth while using the landplane and bent the brackets because they are not very strong. I pounded them out but I do have to worry about putting any side load on them.

Its good to know they havent improved on some things... LOL

My stablizers are both bent... That happened with the 2 bottom plow....
