The new Hobart 187 MIG welder I am looking at is in there at $649

Newbies: Get a copy and read it as much as possible. You will learn a lot.

I enjoy looking at their catologs but I really enjoy walking around the store. I have 3 of them within 25 miles from me an now a new one is opening about 4 miles from me. I guess I had better start saving my money. I hate going in the store because I always come out with something. Usually 100 dollars or more.........

Im with you on enjoying walking the isles in that store also

Price wise I usually do a little better than you, it only cost me $50 the last time Of course when the weather is warmer I like walking outside to look at all the different implements and how much they cost ! Your a lucky guy to have so many stores close by !

Geez, so many stores within 25 miles. It must be nice to live in civilization. Never been to a TSC, but I sure would like to. My closest store is Beaumont, Texas, ~~250 miles away.

I especially like the grade 5 and Grade 8 nut and bolt bins. Fill up bags even theough I don't need them. I like paying by the pound instead of skewing every nut, bolt and washer...The implements outside are another matter. I bought a hinged back BB, and haven't used it yet because of all the rain in the fall and now its winter. Can't wait to try that sucker out. I ordered 225 trees from the state nursery to plant and I have a lot of clearing out to do before I stick them in the ground. I'm cutting down a xmas tree farm gone bad..

I also have 3 close TSC's. The one in Westminster, MD is even building a new store just down the road a little so they can expand. Can't wait until the new one opens.

We don't have any Tractor Supply in Louisiana. But every time we go to Orlando my wife wants to go to Medieval Times or Arabian Nights and I have to make a deal with her. I'll take her there but we have to make time to go to Tractor Supply also. Of course I want to go to Arabian Nights too, but I don't tell her that.

Yep. great store, always be prepared to spend some $ when you go in because you can alway find something you want, need or think you need.

My SIL is a high school teacher and purchased a 100 acre property last Aug. and I think it is his favorite store now also.

I am also jealous of those who live within an easy drive of a TSC. For me it is a 100 mile trip each direction to the closest store in Connecticut. No TSC in either RI or MA or NH.
