New Tractor

Bought new McCormick yesterday, having trouble getting it into gear, an alarm showed up, does this mean gears having problem before I've even used it or am I not engaging gears properly. It has a switch on the gear stick to change gear you don't have to use clutch pedal. Not used a tractor like this before.

I'm no mechanic so I can't help with your gear problem, but welcome to TBN and congrats on your tractor. I'm sure it's not a big deal to fix.

Some transmissions have an oil pump and if you press the clutch down you can get a low pressure warning because the pump stops.

Handbrake .....disegage your handbrake ! Ha ha !

Ha,ha - - mine has no alarm for the footbrake - nor any type of audible alarm either - fortunately. I think everybody has had an embarrassing moment like this once or twice.
