We kinda did the same thing, we bought all new equipment before we retired. We sold off all the old tractors and implements and replaced them with new shiny ones.

When we built our shop we had extra large doors for the 10' mower to enter without problems. I will admit that its a lot nicer doing maintenance instead of repairs on the tractors.

Farming in Florida sure sounds nice, ‘specially this time of year!

Nice looking Branson/TYM. That's about the size tractor I'll be looking at and will probably be looking at TYM if I end up buying new.

Kubota is definitely price gouging right now.
I don't see that here with Kubota or any of them for that matter. Inflation and the devaluing dollar is the driving force in increasing prices. No builder is going to take a bath on tractor sales, just business and nothing more.

Price a new vehicle lately? Guess not.

There's another reason for tractor sales declining, and we're seeing it more every year.

A lot of baby boomers worked hard in their younger days and later rewarded themselves with compact tractors. Or began to have physical limitations and compact tractors with attachments made working on their property more enjoyable.

Around here these same folks are beginning to downsize, and are in more of a selling mode than a buying mode.
They also had things to maintain. A large yard, a large vegetable garden, etc. People today are so busy "multitasking" they don't have time for lawn care and gardening. They want to be carefree and able to go do stuff like take their dog and laptop to the park

Fendt and others have lease programs with all repairs & maintenance included.
You never pay for anything but fuel, oil, grease. Heck you can even get maintenance if you want to pay more.
The amount of tractors being purchased this way is staggering. Farmers can no longer fix large systems in their tractors because of electronics/computers. That was a way they saved money. Now they are realizing it’s cheaper to stick it in the dealers face and make them fix it.
Presents a whole different set of problems, doesnt it? Getting the equipment to the dealer or waiting on a mechanic to show. Then waiting on non-stocked parts to arrive and hoping the diagnosis was good the first time around.

It sounds like you are talking about the new John Deere dealership model!

You don't happen to work for Deere, do you?

Yep, you wonder how good the service will be.
THAT depends on the dealer. I have a very good dealer that I would lease from if service were included, but I doubt I will lease.
Just don’t feel right.

Nope, JD and Kubota have consolidated dealerships in this area. I am still amazed how they (during covid) found the resources to expand.
