My dealer has been having an ongoing issue with getting front end loaders and backhoes too. He's got a number of sold units waiting to both. Kubota says they are ramping up production of them but he hasn't seen it or so he tells me.
What do you think is causing this? Can't get the steel or tubing they need to make them?

When I went to the Kubota dealer in late July they had inventory big and small but they had only one smallish used tractor. Called another K dealer and they said the same. I bought a barely used garage kept MX5200 8 miles from the house. Private deal. Got lucky. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.
The new prices were high and the used stuff was flying off the lot. Much of it was sold before it arrived.

It's probably because the residents of CA are trying to buy everything they can with a combustion engine before your kooky governor forces everything to go electric.

We have a close connection to the steel industry. I'm unsure where Kubota would be getting this tubing from but the steel industry in general, is not operating at there max today. Steel is very much a specialized industry.

I bet if they opened their wallets, they would get some.

Don't know actually. I'd say supply chain economics are still in play.
It "kinda" makes sense to me.

If there are product or production shortages you have to prioritize.

You can't sell an FEL or backhoe if you don't have a tractor to put it on.

So use limited production to make the base product. Then make attachments as you can.

I find it strange that the other brands seem to have loaders, despite what Mr. Messick says.

I suppose the pro-Kubota view would be their parts are better quality and just cannot be built quickly. Maybe that they sell so many more that they cannot keep up.

The con-Kubota argument is that they failed to plan or maybe they prioritized commercial versus consumer equipment.

I heard your president say there will be no more drilling. Period. Today
