Hello all,
I just bought a Satoh s650g bison and from the s# I think it is a 1971. The large "M" casting on engine block leads me to believe it's a Mazda motor. Recently I've found out that as I mature in age my back no longer wants to work a full day, so now I have my first tractor. I've used it to move dirt, clean stable/corral area, and build a atv track for my grandson. Fun so far. My tractor has a National loader and a rear 5' blade. Everything but the PTO seems to work great so far. The guy I bought it from had it for 4 years and never changed any fluids, so my first adventure will be to change them. That is what brings me to this forum. So far I've been reading and playing the lookie-lou roll and have finally realized I'll be needing help from the knowledgeable experts on this site, so now I'm a registered member. I've ordered a repair manual and a new shifter boot from the helpful guys at Valley Power Products, Inc. , and have bought all the fluids needed. Thanks for all the info I've already read and look forward to learning more.
