New tractor owner

Hello, I just purchased a New Holland TC-30 and am anxious to learn how to maintain it as well as use it properly, thanks.

Congratulations and welcome to TBN from Downunder, Mate.

The first thing you do is to read the owners manual... all of it (maintenance schedules & procedures are in there). The second thing is to take your time and slowly get to know the functions of your tractor... If you've got a Front End Loader [FEL] keep the load low to the ground when moving from point A to B.

To TBN and to your new tractor. Did you get your operator's manual with it? If not, then you should get one ASAP. I would also recommend the you get a Work Shop Manual as well even if you don't plan on doing much of the work yourself as it has more info than the operator's manual.
