New tractor owner

Yesterday I bought a 2004 FarmPro 2420 with 85 hours on it from an older guy that volunteers for us. He has a huge tractor & this was his wife's tractor that was only used to pull a Howse 4' cutter (which I got also). It has been kept in great shape. The only issue that I know of is none of the lights work (except the rpm gauge light).

After buying it I went & bought a boom pole, quick hitch, & 4' disc. I have spent most of the day today looking around on here & there is a TON of information here! I'm sure I will have plenty of questions after messing around with it.

My Jinma 284's dash lights did not work either other than the tach also. Come to find out it did not have bulbs or sockets. I picked some up off Ebay and installed them for about $12.

My Jinmas had were the early generation with individual gauges. Each gauge/instrument had bulbs and sockets, and a red wire fed each socket. But the other end of those wires wasn't attached to anything. That said, I never used those tractors after dark anyway, so I didn't bother wasting any time or effort completing the circuit.

When ever you need parts , please give us a try , we keep all the parts for your tractor in stock. Since FarmPro no longer sells tractors, we have purchased most of there spare parts.Most parts are the same as the Jinmas but FarmPro did have a few things that were just for them.Not sure which engine you have the 2- cylinder or the 3- cylinder but we keep parts for both.

The only thing that dosen't work on my 06/07 Jinma 254 is the fuel gauge. I just used the tractor tonight and the head lights and back light are bright! I ordered mine with the individual guages.
