A few months back I bought the 2816 geared. You will be amazed at what this little tractor will do. Only problem I have had is a stuck injector, a little fuel treatment cleared it right up. I have cleared 5 acres of overgrown pasture land and bush hogged a lot. You can do almost anything the big boys can, just takes a little more time and some finesse.

Good little tractor. My brother has a 2816 and it stays pretty close to my 3525 when bush hogging. We do about 80 acres a week. Keep fuel filters handy and you will get meny years out of that tractor.

Congrats on the new ride!! I love mine. Time on it is pretty good at reseting "the clock". Getting ready to do the 50hr maint. on mine.

So far so good on my 2816, @ 110 hours with not major problems. Wish I had the backhoe, great machine, enjoy.

Hey, I'm at work for 3 weeks at a time. We have about 75 hours on the tractor so far. One leaky cylinder on the backhoe, the one that pivots from left to right. Tractor works good, very nice. Have to make some attachments when things settle down after xmas.

Just a thought, I notice all throughout the manual that it says dont idle the tractor below 1500, idle 1500 when its cold, idle 1500 before stopping and such. The only time I have read in the book when they tell you to run the tractor below 1500 is when its being transported (hydrostatic drive) and the tractor may have bounced around a bit while being towed. However, the dealer seems to drive them around and have mentioned they used them at 1500, and when I said I have been driving around and loader work at 2100 , pto would be used at 2400 I think, that he thought I was using the engine fast. Im around diesel engines quite a bit, and I dont find 2100 fast at all for this little engine. and 1500 sounds like an idle to me, 1000 sounds much to slow. What are your experiences and thoughts? Thanks.

Just to mention, I start it up and idle it down or cool down for a few minutes at 1500. Basically I never run the engine slower then 1500.
