New Tractor - L48

I made the plunge and purchased an L48. My decision was based on all the tips I received in this forum. I thank everyone for their input to this site. I have had the tractor about 3 months/13hours now. I have no regrets...it is a joy to play with...er, work with.

TexasRock, just thought I would skim through TBN and see whats going on. The L48 is WONDERFUL, POWERFUL and very competitive with the price of the competitors comparable (JD's 4710 and NH's TC45D) horsepower compacts including the Kubota L4610 HST, it just carries a lot more steel in it. I purchased a TL48 (Tractor/loader, no hoe) back in November. I have only 103 hours on mostly because of the wet weather we had but I can tell you that even with just 103 hours, I have been able to get a tremendous amount of work done and get a pretty good feel for the tractor. It has been a real pleasure to use the HST. What a fantastic transmission. After using a manual for years including a shuttle shift, I don't think I would ever want to go back. Besides offering superior control especially on my slopes, it offers such great mobility. I also feel that it is easier on not only the equipment, but the operator as well. Have fun, Rat....

That is one nice unit, Congrats are in order! I sit on one earlier in the week and it was one impressive machine. Good luck w/it and keep us posted.
