Very nice!!! What are the 4 things on the roof for?

They are snow stoppers, we get a lot of snow here, with a metal roof like this they stop the snow from sliding off and piling up in front of the doors etc

I have never seen snow stoppers like that. The ones in Ohio and pa are little triangle bumps in each channel. What is your typical snowfall?

Pretty common up here on metal roofs, we have anywhere from 2-4 ft of snow on the ground at a time. With the metal roof, these will just slow the shed so it melts and sheds in stages, and I dont end up with a giant pile of snow at my door.

That is really nice, would love to see some inside photos.

Did you add those yourself or were they designed-in for the extra roof loading? Just curious as snow is pretty rare in this part of the world. Something like 1/2" every 10 years. :)

Really Nice! I would have never guessed it was stick frame. I really like the drive-under too.

Now THAT is a shed! plenty of room and real nice looking too. I like the large overhangs on the gable ends. How deep did you go with the footer?

Thanks guys, Footing is down about 4- 5', we have to go down at least 4' due to frost. I also used a scissor truss for extra height.

First pic is excavating by, what was, the old Bank side of the old barn so its deeper than 5' before we took the rest of the bank away

we have a lot of clay here too, which is a problem for frost heaving, so we brought in 60 dump truck loads of sand and gravel to back fill

Your "Shed" is a sHow stopper. Very nice !!

Thanks Very Much, im very pleased with it, we were sorry to lose the big old 1800's bank barn but it was just too expensive to fix the foundation
