Well thanks in large part to the great advice from you guys, I have a Kioti CK2610 arriving at the ranch this Friday....any accessories you could recommend? I'm thinking small (inexpensive) stuff like toolboxes and other trick hacks.....
Thanks!
Ask that kind of question and you will rack up 100 posted replies in less than 3 days. I'm not going to read them, I'll just throw in my own. No way to know how experienced you are and whether you have all this stuff already in place. Do not forget to enjoy your new machine.

Did you say somewhere how this machine is equipped? HST or std? Loader? etc.

  • Grease gun
  • Source of clean fuel treated for the season if need be
  • An hydraulic top link -- you will never be sorry to invest in a good one. I hope you have a remote or two.
  • Some way to keep mice out of your wiring
  • A ROPS mounted roof over your head -- one of the best investments ever. Assuming you didn't buy a cab. Health, comfort, skin cancer reduction, keep working in light rain,...

A green and red highlighter. If your manual is like mine it covers a couple of models. The second trip through the manual I started highlighting things that my tractor had in green, things it didn't have in red. This way I don't waste time reading about things I don't have when looking up something I need.

Enjoy nothing clears the mind like tractor therapy.

I highly endorse the canopy and suggest that it will be your favorite small modification. I have and am very pleased with this simple steel canopy:

When the weather warms, you'll need something to keep the bugs out of your teeth due to constant smile. Lol

Titan tools 3 pt. carry all, and I'm glad a got a grapple for my loader. Harbor tools for an ammo can and mount your tool box on the loader frame. Oh yes, the canopy is a great idea also.

Or remove the silly factory box on Rops and mount it there. Do not drill Rops, use U bolts.

Seat time is very important especially if it is your first tractor and you'll be using the bucket. Get used to how it carries the load when stopping and turning. Easy to get in trouble even on flat ground. Put a boot on cutting edge on the bucket if possible. Sturdies up the edge and the bucket will last longer. If you don't already have the tires loaded run it a little then get them loaded, you won't regret it especially if you plan to use the bucket or forks a lot. Really stabilizes the tractor and takes the bounce out of the tires just driving around. Most of all enjoy!

Agree, but I recommend that you find a tire shop that will fill your tires with a non corrosive product (not calcium chloride). Methanol and water, anti freeze, beet juice, or bio ballast. But do get you rear tires filled.
