New Tractor, 75HP Range

The Kubotas are solid. If that is an M9000 it is a prior generation - replaced by the M9540/8540. The price looks great to me if it is as advertised. Definitely worth a look, but always inspect closely!

Yeah, just spoke to him. Older gentlemen that hasn't used it much. Going to see it today. 4wd and a loader are critical to me, and 90HP more than I need, but that's a good thing.

I have a New Holland TN75, a Kubota 4630, and am currently demoing/probably going to buy a John Deere 5325 to replace my Kubota. I know that the 5325, with only 67 hp, is a little less powerful than you are looking for, but for your needs it might be just fine. I have put about 10 hours on the machine running it with a 10 foot woods mower in very tall grass and the thing just has tons of power. I have run it all day mowing a 55 acre field on my farm, in high range, first gear, low speed (24 by 24 trani) in the Economy PTO setting, so under 1500 RPM the entire time, and it does not struggle one bit. I'd say that if the New Holland TN75 has 75 hp than the Deere feels more like 85 because it is absolutely a more powerful machine. Successful farms do well by minimizing the amount of money spent on equipment and by buying the right equipment. The deere would certainly be my bet with these thoughts in mind. A guy 45 minutes away from my farm has a 5320 with over 13,000 hours on it. I'm sure that other manufacturers can claim this as well, but I'd say that the slight premium you pay for a 5x25 series tractor might very well be worth it in the long run.

The JX80 is comparable in capability but I believe it's an entirely different design. Go take a look at one; IMHO they are quite large and heavy for the utility class. Would be great for bigger fieldwork, and for your tasks may be fine, but take a look.
No, the JX series Case IH's are the same as the TDD series NH's. Your thinking of the JXU series Case IH's which are comparable to the TL-A NH's. Just thought i'd let you know.

So, in other words, you're saying that your eyesight is no better than mine at this time of night! :D
