New Toy

Brought my RK 55 home yesterday, been a long time coming. Ready to put it to work. ROPS is down for garage only.

Nice looking tractor. A suggestion - air pressure in rear tires might be a bit high. Does not appear that there is full contact across the entire bar tread. Check owners manual. I run 15psi to get full bar contact. Enjoy........

Nice tractor, congrats. Make a mental note to lower ROPS before backing into the garage, I forgot the other day but, fortunately, was moving very slowly and heard it contact the trim above the door.....tiny little divot.

Good thought, I will check the manual but these are "new to RK tires" the R14's that is, so probably not listed.

AH, ha - - you are perhaps the first to get a new tractor with the new R-14's. You are probably correct - your OM may not list these tires. You might email the manufacturer and see what they say. Perhaps the dealer got some literature from the manufacturer on these new tires.

In any case - a fine looking tractor.
