Well this tractor came as a basket case
The clutch was stuck, it was a rust bucket,that you wouldnt look at twice.
Then my Dad got sick & needed something to get around his property with so I dragged it out of the barn, and went to work on it.
Specs are
hinomoto JF1 - 4x4 - diesel - 3sp. trans - 3 ranges -
3sp. pto-3pt. hitch- tilt wheel- hood tilts forward- hi lo beams
brake lights- 2 seater-drivers seat suspension-
We added the wide turf tires so it has a very smoooth ride.
Its fun to drive and goes over ruts and bumps ok.
I plan on putting liquid in the tires for more traction too.
We did the clutch, pressure plate, bearing ect..
the local clutch shop had all the new parts in stock
(I was amazed) being a hino tractor & all.
But it was a knuckle buster to do the split on it.
It had a windshield that I scraped , It didnt serve any purpose at 6" tall.
I might also add some tunes to it for him & a cb radio too
in case he gets into trouble (hes 84) and eats from a tube already.I gotta give him credit he wont give up.
When hes done with it, I plan on turning it into a hunting rig
It will be nice cause 2 persons can ride on it.
And I might even rototill the garden or mow the field with it. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
