Good idea.
Remove paint and apply copper sulfate, the numbers will show up. (a trick I learned while working auto theft).I'll have to remove paint and try something else to get those numbers and letters back.
They look like they were sanded down on a repaint and are now very faint at best.

We've using the fire out of the thing and we keep running out of gas at the 7 gallon used level.
I've read that the tank is 13 gallons so I'm wondering at what level should it be running dry. Is it possible that we have an after market fuel cut off with too tall of a pick up?
