It wasn't that bad! Just enough to trim the tree tops a little, new growth tips. I live in west cowlitz county, 7 miles up from the big river. Their are a lot of TBN neighbors here in the north west! :)

About the same with the wind here, power was out most of the day. I think all the trash I cleaned up after the ice storm must have blown back on to the drive way. I have 40 hours of chipping to do from the ice storm . Don't think I have half a dozen alders with tops any more. Most of the firs are still intact. A few topped out and some small ones blew down.
What kind of equipment are you running? How big is your place?

We have a L3540 and l245 and 8N My home place is just a little less than 8acres. My trail ridding buddies and I hay about a section and a 1/2 hay land. Got forest land, dont know how much of that! All togeather we have 8 tractors and the associated eq. to go along with each one. We do haying, road maint, reforestation, weed controll, and what ever else that comes up! I just got done brushing hogging vines on a plot where 7k trees will be planted soon!

You are "big time" . I have five acres mostly woods some open. I could leave all my equipment in your yard and you wouldn't even notice. A section and a half of hay should feed a pretty big batch of critters, Make a hand sweat a couple of days too. Later.

Big time? No!! I just run with some big boys! They pay the bills and I get to play farmer any time I want! Hay season is about 4 weeks long 18/7! :)

4 weeks of 18/7 is beyond me now days. I retired from long haul trucking in '07. Was an owner-operator for 25 years.
