Welcome, shop for a dealer that you can trust and get a tractor from him. There is some difference in tractors but having a good dealer is very imp. Ask tractor owners around your area and go from there.

You didn't mention what you intend to do with the tractor, That might help us help you. You should look at all of the brands of tractor that are represented in you local area by reputable dealers, and if possible to demo the ones you are interested in. Sometimes all it takes to cross a tractor off your list is 5 minutes in the seat.

Hi to all and thanks for the replies. My property is mostly wooded. 10 years ago when I bought my Husky lawn tractor/mower it was all I could afford and small for the job, I didn't want to spend much time repairing a used tractor, although I could see my self on a 8n .. that wasn't going to happen. Every two weeks or so I or one of my sons ride for 5 or more hours cutting a field and the grass surrounding the house. 5 years ago I was looking at Z turns at the local Cub Cadet Dealer when I saw the Yanmar Cubs Cadet and put the Z Turn off to the side .... *two weeks ago i was up in Boonville for the woodsman expo where I saw the TYM tractor with a front end loader ... very nice!*I am in Cairo/East Durham NY. there is Kubota, Cub Cadet dealer close by Kioti with in a hours ride?*
