Tractor
Kubota B7500
Ladies and Gentlemen,

New to this group. Have recently purchased a used Kubota B7800. I would like to find a belly mower for it. I also own a 1954 Ford Jubilee that looks it's age but runs great and is virtually indestructable. But it's too light for a loader hence my move to the Kubota which I feel is the best small tractor available (sorry Mr. Deere). Have small 10 acre plot with a couple of high maintainence horses and some surrounding pastureland that I take care of in place of rent. Last summer's drought left a lot of dead spots that the weeds have appropriated this spring. We have had a lot of rain this spring in Midwest so everything is growing like it's on steroids.

Not sure what mower will fit the Kubota but I expect it will be a 72 inch cut. If anyone has a line on one let me know

Welcome John to TractorByNet. I almost bought a jubilee. They are sharp tractors when restored. -kid

Kid,

Just read your profile. You must be "the man" on this forum. I don't have any particular favorites in the tractor world but have come to appreciate how much more work you can get done with the right equipment. And faster. My main complaint with having some land is that it takes a lot of time to maintain it properly. I spend hours every week mowing and cutting brush and dead limbs. Not that anyone would particularly care or notice but I can't seem to help myself. Anyway, the time I save now is devoted to my car "collection". Have a 2010 Mustang GT that has been heavily modified and is a real muscle car. On weekends I have a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible that I drive. It only has 28000 original miles and is a very nice car. I am likewise restoring a 1957 Austin Healey 100 6 roadster which is probably out of my league and certainly out of my budget but I could not resist as it sat in my neighbors back yard for 15 years and I looked at it daily and wondered what it would look like in all it's former glory.
I see you are a Vol's fan. I am a Mizzou fan and last year's inauguration into SEC was disappointing. I have vowed to visit every SEC football venue. Made it to Gainesville last year. Looks like Tennessee will be in Columbia, MO this year so I may make to your neck of the woods the following. Seems like the Vols have fallen on hard times and I can only imagine how bad the fans are hurting.
Thanks for the welcome.
