I own 2006 JD 2305, having a start issue, motor turns over great, new battery and cables, having to move low/high range lever to find neutral. Where is the neutral/safety switch?

Not sure on that one. On my JD2520 it is located on the left side of the tractor-just in front of the rear axle. If you lay down on the ground and have someone move the shift lever back and forth you should be able to find it. I know where mine is on the 2520 because the first time I took it in the woods to do some light skidding a branch on the ground 'nudged' the neutral safety switch aside such that the tractor wouldn't start! IIRC, however, it wouldn't crank at all ...
