New (to me) Turf Gator 4x2

I have been looking for a golf cart for about a year to play with...So last week this came up on CraigsList, it was close to home so I went to look and bought it today.

Details:
Made in early 2001
10 HP Kawasaki engine
CVT Transmission
Electric dump bed
Only 65.3 hours!
Recent service (October) at the JD Dealer, $300+
Weighs 900lbs.
$3,500

It's more than I wanted to spend ($2000) on a golf cart, but this thing is built like a tank!-basically a golf cart on steroids! And it's GREEN

Man, that thing sure is clean for a 2001 model. We have a play down near the coast that's a gated community and that would be just perfect for us. My father-in-law has a golf cart they use down there. We just use my 4-wheeler now to roam around on.

I like the hydraulic dump bed. That is a back saver for sure.

I notice the jacket and gloves inside the garage. Is it that cold up there you have to wear gloves indoors. It got down to 51 here today but like Wednesday it was in the 80's and dropped down to the 40's.

Anyhow, nice find Kenny.

I plan...But I don't think I can keep up with your RTV

The transaxle shifts into reverse. You are correct that in some older GC's the engine ran backwards for reverse.

3500.00 seems kinda high for a 01 model doesn't it? it is clean and well kept up . you have to figure the new 09 ts models with i think a 11hp the msrp is 6500.00 you could get them down to probably 5800.00 or lower with the econemy the way it is.

Possibly you are correct...but add $273 for the bedliner, and $709 for the bed lift and I think I did OK, plus I was able to pay cash for it and I could not have done that buying a new one. All in all we are happy

it's in good shape and your happy and you don't have a note so what more can you ask for.
