I just bought a landpride SB1064 blower for $600 is that a good deal? It had only been used twice and kept inside.

Now i'm looking for the books to it and some spare sheer bolts can anyone direct me to where the bolts would be and the type needed to buy?

Thanks very much!

Sheer bolts are funky. Some use standard grade 5 bolts. But they fit a bit loose, which can cause wear.

If I recall on mine (74" unit) M8-50 C1.6.6 is the sheer bolt for the blower. I think the shear bolt on the PTO shaftcwas something standard & easy to find. The blower bolt only shows up in LandPride dealers for $3 or so. Which is annoying.

Are the very likely to sheer? I know on my bush hog i have hit some nasty stuff and never sheerd one.

I believe you got a good deal.

If I knew your location, I would offer you $800.00 for it to take it off your hands if it doesn't work out for you. LOL

My experience with shear bolts is that they MUST fit the hole good and tight. Very snug. If there is play in the holes for the shear bolt it is doomed to a short life. That has always been true on my smaller bush hogs. My snowblower has never sheared a shear bolt but I think it is a safe bet to act the same way.
