New to me LS3039

I presume that as the tractor I have already has the modified loader mount, there is nothing further I can do as a preventative measure. Would this be accurate?

Sounds like you're good ... just check the torque every 10hrs which is what the manual recommends.

hutchman, just want to thank you and John for your help. I will double check and get the bolts properly torqued. I feel fairly certain that these have likely never been checked either and it would seem to be fairly easy preventative maintenance. Seems a bit excessive and certainly inconvenient to hit them at each 10 hour increment. Just another "it is what it is" situation. Now for a new question. Is there a product you'd recommend from Tractor Supply, or Wal-Mart, or Autozone, or O'Reilly's, or etc., that would be correct for topping off the gear box / hydraulic fluid when I change my hydraulic filter for the first time? Also, what is the recommended viscosity of the engine oil. I'd guess 15W-40. I used Rotella 15W-40 for this first round as the closest LS dealer is 100 miles and when I called they said Rotella 15W-40. Of course he also said that the engine would take 7 quarts and I was very nearly full at one gallon. What is the oil capacity of the r3039's engine?
